hi
I have windows 7 operating system installed in my PC.I am fond of linux hosting as it's the number one host for php based popular websites/web applications.

Now i want to install linux operating system, it's open source and free. If anybody can lead me to right direction on what is the best version and how do i install it? and how to get started using it and start php developments??
